Before devoting himself fully to photography Tony was an academic veterinary surgeon and immunologist, serving as Professor and Chair of the Surgery Department at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. He divides his time between Boston and Peru, has exhibited regularly in the northeast, notably at the Vermont Center for Photography, Brattleboro, VT; Bennington Museum of Art, VT; Cape Cod Museum of Art, Dennis, MA; Museum of Fine Arts Boston, MA; and the Photographic Resource Center, Boston University. he has won numerous awards from the Boston Camera Club, New England Camera Club Conference and Santa Fe Photographic Workshops Portrait Competition among others.
