Field Notes January 2014
PROOF travels to India and Nepal in January 2014. Our first meeting was with the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA) Kathmandu. The UNFPA works to improve the lives of women and children. PROOF and UNFPA discussed organizing a two-day conference and workshop that would bring together policymakers, womens' rights NGO's, and survivors during the "16 Days of Activism" against gender violence, a world-wide event scheduled to take place from Nov. 25 - Dec. 10, 2014.

May was an eventful month for PROOF. Our benefit auction was our most successful ever, generating more than $35,000 in proceeds.
